“Winning means fame and fortune.Losing means certain death. The Hunger Games have begun…”
Bow - bought from Walmart in the toy aisle and spray painted silver and re-stringed with black twine.
Arrows- made of dowel rods cut at 14inches. Using a sheet of white craft foam paper, cut out three “feathers” and two “small triangles” for the arrow heads. Adhere the feathers and arrow heads using hot glue then spray paint silver to match bow.
Quiver- buying a poster tube from a local shipping company (such as fedX) I cut it in half and spray painted the entire thing silver. After drying, I taped off what parts needed to remain silver and painted the black stripes on all three sides. I then punctured two holes at the top and two holes at the bottom. Using the same black twine for my bow, I then thread a needle through the two holes typing a key ring to the outside on the top; repeating the same thing at the bottom. After that, I took a leather clip strap from an old purse and clipped it to the key rings so that the quiver can be slung across the body.
