I brought Nightlock to the theater.

Our Group Costumes. 

We were the first ones to show up dressed up and when we went into our theater everyone applauded/screamed and then everyone took our picture/asked to be in pictures with us. It was the best!

The Capitol. The first glimpse into my Hunger Games premiere costume! I’m going as a citizen of the Capitol. Also, this is the first installment in a series of Hunger Games inspired looks I’m going to be doing. That should convince me to do more consistent posts! This Capitol look was initially inspired by Cinna’s gold eyeliner, and I just went from there and let myself take it as crazy and couture as possible. I absolutely loved the section of Katniss describing the Capitol fashion (Capitol Couture, if you will) and I can’t wait to see it in the movie! I was inspired by the people who dyed their skin, so I went with kind of a purple/gold bejeweled individual. The male style is still very masculina, very debonair, very victorian. It’s just the makeup, and the choice of colors that makes it Capitol. I love this look! This was just the first test run, and I’m sure changes will be made by the time of the premiere!
